So far, Razer has covered its bases well with the Huntsman series keyboards, which are already available with optical switches in full-size and tenkeyless form. Now, Razer is adding the Huntsman Mini Analog to the roster, bringing Razer's optical switches to the ultra-compact, 60% keyboard form-factor.
Fitted with Razer Analog Optical Switches, the Huntsman Mini Analog brings a finer degree of control to gaming with adjustable analog sensitivity presets, and double keymapping for digital/analog inputs. This allows for finer directional control in games. This is particularly good for racing games with a keyboard, as you have more control over throttle and steering. For other kinds of games, such as an FPS, you can bind two actions to a single button, so for instance, you could use the same key to swap between sprinting and walking speeds.
Aside from Razer's optical switches, the Huntsman Mini Analog also comes with Doubleshot PBT keycaps, which last longer and don't wear down as quickly. The main body of the keyboard uses aluminium to improve durability further.
The Huntsman Mini Analog is the first 60% gaming keyboard on the market to feature Razer Analog Optical Switches, making it ideal for LAN players, fans of minimalist gaming set-ups. The Razer Huntsman Mini Analog will be available starting this month for $149.99 USD / €159.99.
