With E3’s grasp on the video games industry weakening, many other events have been formed to fulfill the annual ritual of Summer game announcements. One of these is the Future Games Show, and after a successful run in 2021, the showcase is returning later this month.
The Future Games Show is an annual event presented by GamesRadar+ which sees all manner of announcements made – similar in style to a digital E3 presentation. GamesRadar has now confirmed that the 2022 Spring Edition of the Future Games Show (the first of three this year) is set to take place on Tuesday the 24th of March at 10 PM GMT.
Described as “our biggest and most ambitious year yet,” the upcoming showcase will kick off the year with over 40 games set to be featured alongside 8 world premieres. Previous years’ events have included games from all corners of the industry, ranging from first-party titles such as Returnal to indies like Operation: Tango and inbetweens including Kena: Bridge of Spirits; Elite Dangerous; The Lord of the Rings Gollum and more.
With 2022 claimed to be their biggest year yet, it will be interesting to see what the showrunners have in store for fans. The stream will be available to watch HERE.
