There is no Blizzcon taking place this year, but Blizzard does have announcements for 2022. This week, the studio shared a roadmap of upcoming announcements, including the next World of Warcraft expansion, which will be revealed in April.
The announcements will begin on the 15th of March, when the next expansion for Hearthstone will be announced. As you would expect, this will include a new round of themed cards for competitive play. Then, on the 19th of March, the WoW Arena World Championship tournament will begin.
That brings us up to April 19th, at which point, Blizzard will unveil the next major expansion for World of Warcraft. Then, Blizzard will officially announce its Warcraft mobile game in May – a title that has been in the works for several years already at this point. Following the poor reception to Diablo Immortal's reveal, Blizzard has been sitting on this one for a while. This time around, Blizzard will be announcing content for its core audience first, followed by a mobile game announcement, which should help a little with the initial reaction to the announcement.
Blizzard hasn't revealed anything further, but we do know that Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2 are no longer due to release this year, so there may not be many big reveals left for Blizzard this year.
