The Genesis Krypton 55 has an MSRP of $29.99 or €25.99. UK availability is currently unknown. We found it on sale directly from Genesis for 99.90 PLN (about £17.50) HERE, and €22.59 from senukai.lt HERE.
Pros
- Decent sensor for the price.
- Paracord-style braided cable is great quality.
- Extra PTFE gliders included.
- Software is well designed and easy to use.
- Honeycomb design helps keep the weight down.
- Very competitively priced.
Cons
- Weight is listed as 70g but weighs 75g on my scales with cable removed.
- RGB “prism” effect doesn’t look that good.
- Honeycomb design hides the Genesis logo and looks messy.
- The scroll wheel offers little resistance.
- DPI and RGB buttons are a bit cheap feeling.
KitGuru says: For $30 this mouse is quite impressive, the features and overall quality are solid, while the negative points are easy to look past considering the price point.
