Xbox reveals its ‘Steam Deck verified’ titles and list of unsupported games

The Steam Deck has officially launched and publishers are racing to get their games ‘verified' for Valve's handheld gaming PC. So far, over 1,000 games have been verified for the Deck and now, Xbox Game Studios has revealed which of its games have been rated for the Steam Deck so far, and importantly, what games are not playable.

So far, Deathloop, Psychonauts 2, Hellblade, The Evil Within, Fallout Shelter, Prey, Battletoads and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood have all been verified. Meanwhile, Sea of Thieves, Fallout 4, Forza Horizon 5, Forza Horizon 4, Quantum Break and State of Decay have all been listed as playable.

Unfortunately, there are some major titles missing here. Due to anti-cheat systems in place, Gears 5, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Halo Infinite and Microsoft Flight Simulator X are all unplayable. This is an issue that has impacted a few major titles so far, including the likes of Destiny 2.

There are a number of Xbox Game Studios titles that have not been tested yet, so expect more updates in the future. I'm sure Todd Howard is itching to get Skyrim running on this system too.
