NZXT is officially stepping into the gaming peripherals market, starting with the new Function Modular Mechanical Keyboard and the Lift Lightweight Ambidextrous Mouse. The introduction of peripherals will also see deeper customisation options offered through the NZXT BLD service.
The NZXT Function keyboard is a low-profile keyboard with an aluminium body designed to allow users to tailor their experience. It includes customisable features like hot-swappable switches, detachable USB-C cable, and standard bottom rows. This allows users to tune the keyboard to their exact colour, sound, and feel preferences.
Joining the keyboard is a new NZXT lightweight ambidextrous mouse. The Lift Mouse has a minimalist design, with a PixArt 3389 optical sensor and Omron switches under the hood. Both the keyboard and mouse have RGB lighting, which can be customised through NZXT CAM. In addition to all of this, NZXT is also going to offer new mouse pads in three sizes and different colour options.
In countries where NZXT BLD is available, users can pay to further customise the keyboard and mouse, including different base colours, switches, accent keycaps and different coloured cables.
The NZXT Function keyboard will be available in three sizes – full-sized, tenkeyless and Mini TKL, priced at £129.99, £109.99 and £99.99 respectively. The Lift mouse will be available for £39.99 and mouse pads are available starting at £14.99. If you want to customise your keyboard or mouse through NZXT BLD, you will have to pay a $9.99 service fee.
