PlayStation Network outage is blocking access to games

The PlayStation Network is currently down, causing issues for players trying to access games and services across PS3, PS Vita, PS4 and PS5 consoles.

The issues began at around 12PM GMT. Currently, the PlayStation status page says “some services are experiencing issues” across all PlayStation platforms. Due to the outage, users are currently unable to access the PS Store, PS Now, PS Plus, and some PSN-reliant games.

Sony has acknowledged the outage on its Japanese support Twitter account, but has yet to share the message on its other pages. Still, we know the company is working to address the situation. It is also worth noting that the outage isn't impacting everyone globally, so some areas may still have access.
