Glorious launches Model I mouse with magnetic replaceable buttons

Recently, we saw the launch of the Glorious GMMK Pro pre-built mechanical keyboard, and now, the team is moving to expand its mouse line-up. Joining the already popular Model O and Model D mice is the new Glorious Model I, complete with replaceable magnetic side buttons and the Glorious BAMF optical sensor.

The Glorious Model I is designed for right-handed users, as you can probably tell from the shape. One of the key features of this mouse is the replaceable magnetic buttons. The replacement buttons allow users to choose between different shapes, or 3D print their own designs for thumb buttons, adding a new level of customisation that we have not seen many times before.

The Model I uses the Glorious BAMF Sensor, offering between 100-1900 DPI, with four default DPI settings that are switchable via the DPI toggle on the mouse. The LED strip on the mouse will light up with a different colour based on the DPI profile being used. At default, the Model I is set up to flash yellow for 400 DPI, blue for 800 DPI, red for 1600 DPI and green for 3200 DPI. The mouse also offers max tracking speed of 400 IPS, 50G acceleration and has a minimum lift-off distance of 1mm.

Included with the mouse is the Glorious Ascended Cord, a different mouse cable designed to reduce cable drag and resistance. There is also a 3-zone RGB strip along the side of the mouse, which you'll be familiar with if you've used other mice from Glorious. The mouse also weighs in at 69g, in keeping with the ultra lightweight focus of other Glorious mice.

The Glorious Model I will be available through Overclockers UK soon for £59.99. There are also several accessories available separately, including the Glorious GSkates, a replacement button kit and grip tape. The Glorious Mouse Bungee is also available separately is you want to eliminate cable drag entirely, or just tidy up the cables on your desk.
