Lost Ark could be heading to consoles next

Amazon Games had a hit on its hands earlier this year with Lost Ark, which swiftly broke records when it launched on Steam worldwide. For now, the game is a PC exclusive, but Lost Ark could follow in the footsteps of other major ARPGs with a console release later on.

Amazon Games lead, Soomin Park, recently commented on the possibility of a console version of Lost Ark during an interview with VG247, saying: “If Lost Ark on consoles is something that fans really want, then I think it's something both parties (Amazon, Smilegate) would consider”.

Other huge ARPGs like Path of Exile and Diablo have found great success on consoles, so there is definitely a big market waiting on consoles. Lost Ark will see some tough competition in the years to come too, as Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4 are both on the way.

In the meantime, Amazon and Smilegate are looking to use this window of opportunity to “establish itself as a major player” in the ARPG space.
