Roccat launches the Kone XP, a new gaming mouse featuring 15 configurable buttons

In an effort to continue the legacy of the Kone mouse, Roccat is now launching the Kone XP. Featuring a similar shape, the new Kone XP was redesigned to house 15 buttons, RGB lighting and a slew of other gaming-oriented features for users that play different types of games.

Roccat's new mouse should have enough buttons to please MMORPG players, all of which are configurable to fulfil your needs. In total, there are 29 different button functionalities to choose from, thanks to Roccat's Easy-Shift[+] technology. Moreover, both the right and left click buttons use Titan Optical switches, rated with 0.2ms actuation speed and a durability of up to 70 million clicks.

Kone XP's RGB lighting system consists of 22 LED lights with eight pipelines. As an AIMO lighting-based mouse, you can synchronise with other AIMO devices to match effects across your desk.

For the sensor, Roccat chose its own Owl-Eye 19K DPI optical sensor (based on PixArt PAW3370), capable of tracking mouse movements with precision. In addition, the mouse is customisable through Roccat's Swarm software, where you can change lighting colours and effects, create macros and change button functions.

The Roccat Kone XP features a PhantomFlex cable, and heat-treated PTFE glides for an almost-wireless mouse experience. Additionally, it supports Nvidia Reflex Analyzer to measure end-to-end system latency. The new Roccat Kone XP is now available worldwide for $89.99.
