It is no secret that Call of Duty is currently at a low point, with franchise fatigue setting in once again. In an effort to boost player counts and sales, Activision will be offering a two-week free trial for Vanguard, the longest free trial period for any Call of Duty game ever.
Call of Duty is no stranger to free weekends, and each game in the series usually gets at least a couple of free weekends over its lifecycle. However, with Vanguard continuing to struggle, Activision is going to offer a much longer free trial period to encourage sales and bring in new players. The two week free trial period begins on the 30th of March and ends on the 13th of April.
During those two weeks, free players will have access to several popular multiplayer modes, as well as the most popular maps the game has to offer – including Casablanca and Gondola, two maps that launched with Season Two recently. You will also get to play the new base capture mode, set on a large map with vehicles and objective-based gameplay.
Currently, Call of Duty Vanguard is also up to 35% off on PC, but discounts for the digital console versions have not been announced.
