EK launches water blocks for Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition

Recently, EK announced plans for a water block for the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition, but warned that it will take a little while to get the blocks ready. Now just a couple of weeks later, EK is launching the Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Ti D-RGB waterblocks and backplates.

Available in black and silver, the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Ti features an extremely thick copper base that's tall enough to cover all PCB components, including the GPU, VRAM, and VRMs. As it stands, it's the largest cooling engine EK has ever built, sporting 30% more surface area than other Vector water blocks.

The EK-Quantum Vector for RTX 3090 Ti FE is CNC-machined out of a 12mm thick piece of pure electrolytic copper and then nickel-plated. As for the top part, it's also CNC-machined but from a glass-like cast acrylic material. Lastly, the external enclosure is machined out of a 20mm thick solid piece of aluminium and anodised in black or grey. The block's sealing is done using EPDM O-rings. Moreover, the block has pre-installed brass standoffs to provide an easier installation process.

The block features one terminal with two direct G1/4″ ports on the side and another with four G1/4″ ports. Both are directly attached to the copper cold plate to reduce the damaging risk. EK has also introduced the exclusive Founders Edition backplates for RTX 3090 Ti FE in black and silver versions. As the name implies, the block supports D-RGB, which can be configured via most motherboard RGB software.

The EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Ti D-RGB is now available for €346.90. The stand-alone backplate will put you back €60.90 (black) or €65.90 (silver).
