Star Wars Outlaws is almost here, with the open world title set to release at the end of the month. With mere weeks to go, publisher Ubisoft has now shared their plans for the game’s post-launch content.
Making the announcement on their blog, Ubisoft detailed the next 6 months of content for Star Wars Outlaws. As of right now, it seems like there are no plans for any major free updates, with all of the post-launch support being saved for the Season Pass.
With that said, Season Pass holders will be able to get their hands on two story packs alongside a couple cosmetic bundles.
Story Pack 1 arrives in ‘Fall 2024’ and is titled Wild Card; in which “Kay is hired to infiltrate a high-stakes Sabacc tournament, but as she crosses paths with the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, she soon learns that another game is being played.”
Story Pack 1 will also be released alongside two cosmetic bundles: Hunter’s Legacy and Cartel Ronin. Story Pack 2 – A Pirate’s Fortune – meanwhile is set for launch in Spring of next year, the description of which reads as follows: “The Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay as she runs into veteran pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who is looking to settle old scores with a ruthless gang of pirates.”
Star Wars Outlaws shows a great deal of promise. That said, we will have to wait until the game officially launches to determine whether the Season Pass represents a solid value for money.
