Portable monitors are useful small displays that users can carry around wherever they go. However, most of these are limited to 1080p, which isn't always enough depending on the task at hand. For those looking for something a bit sharper, than LG may have the answer.
Featuring a 16-inch IPS WQXGA panel with 2560×1600 resolution (16:10) and 60Hz refresh rate, the LG Gram +View, also known as 16MQ70, is not your average portable monitor. With an 8-bit colour depth, 350nits of brightness and 1200:1 contrast ratio, this monitor can cover up to 99% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Measuring 360×245.5×8.3mm (WxDxH) and weighing 670g (990g with the included folio cover), the monitor is only available in silver. Moreover, the monitor has 2x USB-C (DP Alt Mode) ports and a control switch to adjust the display's brightness.
The LG Gram +View will release in Japan in mid-April for ¥45,000, but we know it's also coming to the US, listed for $349 on the region's website. Unfortunately, there's no word on pricing and availability for Europe.
