Dying Light 2 might be a single-player game, but Techland plans to support the title for years to come with content updates. Techland has been patching the game regularly since launch, with the latest update bringing New Game Plus mode for those who have already finished the story once.
So far, Techland has given players new cosmetics, Parkour challenges, and now, New Game Plus. Later this year, Techland will also release the first paid DLC for the game, with two paid story expansions planned. The first expansion at least will take place concurrently to the main story, so expect it to be a bit of a standalone experience.
New Game Plus is part of Dying Light 2 Patch 3, the biggest update to the game since launch. The update also fixes many multiplayer and single-player issues. Techland is also currently running an easter egg hunt, which you can learn more about here.
Dying Light 2 became available in February, after multiple delays and an extended development cycle. The game still launched with some issues, but overall, Dying Light 2 has been a success so far.
