NZXT Lift Gaming Mouse Review

Rating: 7.0.

In today's review we are taking a look at the NZXT Lift, the company's first ever gaming mouse. Targeting the entry-level market, the Lift retails for £39.99 in the UK. For that asking price, it offers Omron switches, a PixArt 33899 sensor and a lightweight design. The Lift is promising on paper, but here's what it is actually like to use.

Pros

  • Affordable price point.
  • Lightweight at only 67g.
  • Excellent cable.
  • No thrills, simple mouse.
  • Simple and elegant RGB.
  • Strong sensor performance.
  • Accent customisation via NZXT website.
  • DPI and Profile switching directly on the mouse.

Cons

  • Offers nothing new in the mouse market.
  • Side buttons feel too low, cramps thumb.
  • Build quality could be better.
  • Matte design is easily marked (particularly visible on the white model).

KitGuru says: The NZXT Lift works fine as an entry-level mouse, but NZXT really isn't offering anything special or important enough to convince users to upgrade or switch to it from their existing mice. If you need a new mouse, the NZXT Lift might be worth considering, particularly if you want it for aesthetic purposes, but there are plenty of other options out there to consider.
