Last month, Sony officially announced its new PlayStation Plus tiers, shaking up the console subscription offering by mixing in cloud gaming and a rotating library of games. Sony planned to roll out its new PS+ Extra and premium tiers before the end of June, but now we have more specific dates for the launch.
The new PS+ Essential, Extra and Premium tiers will arrive in Asia first, followed by North America and Europe. In Asia, the rollout begins on the 23rd of May, with the exception of Japan, which will get the service on the 1st of June. The Americas will get the update on the 13th of June and Europe will get the update on the 22nd of June. It is worth noting that these are all target dates, so it is possible that the timing shifts slightly.

KitGuru Says: We still need to see the full game library offerings from the Extra and Premium tiers, but I'm pretty sure I'll be skipping this upgrade for the time being. Are any of you planning on subscribing to one of the new PS+ tiers?
