G.Skill launches first Ripjaws DDR5 SO-DIMM memory with up to 5200MHz speeds

We’ve seen a focus on desktop DDR5 memory over the last six months, but availability of DDR5-equipped laptops is also improving. For those looking to get some extra performance, G.Skill is now launching DDR5 SODIMM modules.

G.Skill's new DDR5 “Ripjaws” SO-DIMM modules will soon be available for laptops and small form factor PCs. The new kits promise up to 64GB capacity (2x32GB), as well as up to 5200MHz speeds. At 5200MHz, these SO-DIMM modules should be the fastest available for the time being, with rival kits topping out at 4800MHz.

Built with specially screened IC chips and hand-tested through a highly selective binning process, each Ripjaws DDR5 SO-DIMM memory kit is constructed for high performance and reliability. There will be several G.Skill Ripjaws SO-DIMM kits available at first, all of which you can see in the table below:

G.Skill Ripjaws SO-DIMM memory modules will be launching this month. We'll have pricing confirmation as soon as these kits start popping up at retail.
