PREY and its DLC will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

Each week the Epic Games Store offers a number of free games to all those with an Epic Games account. From the 12th of may, users can get their hands on the much-loved first-person sci-fi game PREY, as well as the hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology, Jotun.

Both Prey and Jotun have been made available for free through Epic Games in the past. For those who didn’t manage to pick it up back then, Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game in which you play as Thora, “a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla.”

The headlining game however is undoubtedly Arkane’s 2017 release PREY, a first person sci-fi game in which “you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong.”

It seems as though the version of PREY on offer is the complete edition including all of its post-launch DLC. This is notable due to the inclusion of the Mooncrash DLC, which for many is the best part of the whole game.

Both PREY and Jotun will be available to purchase and download for free from the 12th of May until the 19th. While waiting, be sure to head on over to the Epic Games Store to redeem this week’s free game offering ‘Terraforming Mars’.
