At Computex 2024, Fractal announced plans to launch its first chair, the Fractal Refine. In keeping with Fractal's usual modern aesthetic, the Fractal Refine is designed to look good in the home, without all of the usual ‘gamer' stylings. After a few more weeks being finalised, the Fractal Refine is now ready to launch across the globe.
When conceptualising this chair, the creators aimed to provide gamers with a comfortable and adaptable space to play their favourite games for hours on end. Drawing inspiration from the ergonomic principles of high-end office chairs and Scandinavian furniture design, the Refine chair offers various customisation options. This chair is all about adjusting itself to the individual, from adjustable headrest and lumbar support to versatile armrest orientations.
The Fractal Refine is available in breathable mesh or plush, cushioned fabric in light and dark colour schemes. For those looking for something more luxurious, there's also an option featuring Alcantara, a synthetic textile with a soft, suede-like microfibre pile noted for its durability. Besides looks and comfort, durability was also a key point when designing the Fractal Refine, which features a robust, glass-fibre reinforced frame and an aluminium wheelbase.
For gamers in the US, the Fractal Refine is now available in mesh dark, fabric dark, and fabric light variants for $549.99. The Alcantara dark model is available for $899.99. Gamers in the Asia Pacific can also get their hands on this chair now. These chairs will arrive in additional territories in the coming weeks.

KitGuru says: Although more expensive than the average gaming chair, the Refine offers some features that might make it stand out. The most obvious one is its more understated design, which alone might be enough to convince some.
