After nearly two years of PlayStation exclusivity, God of War: Ragnarok is finally coming to PC. The first game, simply titled ‘God of War', launched on Steam in early 2022 and has gone on to become one of Sony's best-sellers. With the sequel now just weeks away, the PC system requirements have been revealed.
As God of War: Ragnarok is a cross-generation title, the minimum PC system requirements are very accessible. To run the game at 1080p/30FPS at Low Settings, you'll need a 4th Gen Intel Core i5 or 1st Gen Ryzen 3 series processor, 8GB of RAM and a GTX 1060 or RX 5500 XT graphics card. These requirements are low, so many who played the original game on PC shouldn't have to worry about not being able to play the sequel.
You can see the full detailed PC system requirements in the table below:

If you do struggle to run the game, then you can try switching on DLSS, FSR 3 or XeSS, which are all present in the game at launch.
Perhaps the most restrictive requirement here is the install size. Sony wants players to clear out as much as 190GB of SSD space to install the game. Hopefully the High Resolution Texture Pack will be optional so those playing at lower graphics settings can save some storage space.

KitGuru Says: I've been waiting for the PC release before really diving into Ragnarök, although I have played the first few hours on PS5. Will you be picking this one up next month?
