Returnal was a huge hit on PS5 at launch and now a year later, it looks like the game will be heading to PC. Returnal was already mentioned as a PC title during the GeForce Now leak, which has largely been accurate so far. Now, SteamDB shows that Returnal is waiting on the backend of Steam ahead of an announcement.
As spotted by Nibel, SteamDB has been updated with a new game. While Returnal isn't specifically mentioned on the page, “Tower of Sisyphus” is, which is a reference to a Returnal DLC. Other tags, such as mention of Helios, and Atropos further point towards this being a page for Returnal. For those who have never played the game, Helios is the name of your ship and Atropos is the name of one of the in-game planets.
This news immediately follows on from Sony's recent quarterly earnings report, during which Sony executives expressed interest in bringing more of the PlayStation catalogue to PC. In fact, the company plans to have half of its games on PC by 2025.
Whether Returnal heads to PC this year or next year still remains to be seen. Sony has already released God of War (2018) for PC this year, and plans to ship Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC in June, leaving the door open for Returnal to land on PC in the second half of the year.

KitGuru Says: I've been wanting to play Returnal since launch but I've been holding off for a sale. If the game can run at high refresh rates on PC, then that could end up being the definitive platform, in part due to more responsive keyboard and mouse controls.
