Diablo Immortal now has the lowest user-score of any Blizzard game

Diablo Immortal has been making headlines over the last week, as players flooded in to find a good game, only to then be disappointed by an aggressive microtransaction system. Now, Diablo Immortal has overtaken other recent controversial releases as the lowest user-rated game in Blizzard's catalogue.

On Metacritic, user-review scores for Diablo Immortal have been tanking and has now plummeted to the worst user-score in Blizzard's catalogue, with a rating of just 0.5. Other recent Blizzard releases have also seen low user scores, with Warcraft 3: Reforged sitting with just a 0.6 rating, and WoW Classic: The Burning Crusade also has a 0.5 user rating.

Diablo Immortal officially launched on the 2nd of June, promising a brand new campaign and six classes to make runs with. By most accounts, the campaign is actually good and the game is fun. However, there is a power cap in place for free players, and a very expensive microtransaction in place to force players into paying if they want to really perfect their build and participate in PvP.
