HyperX unveils new wireless gaming earbuds

Contrary to headsets, there aren't as many wireless gaming earbuds. That is beginning to change, as manufacturers are increasingly launching more of these. HyperX is joining the club with its new Cloud Mix Buds this month.

The HyperX Cloud Mix Buds are the company's first true wireless earbuds with dual-mode wireless connectivity. Thanks to its USB-C wireless adapter, you can connect the earbuds via low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless for gaming. The earbuds also includes a USB-C to USB-C desktop cable that lets you place the adapter where you want, allowing you to switch between connectivity modes easily. Moreover, you can also use Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for general listening.

The new HyperX Cloud Mix Buds offer 7.1 virtual surround sound. Each earbud has a 12mm dynamic driver and supports DTS Headphone:X for immersive 3D spatial audio. Using the HyperX Ngenuity software, you can change sound settings, customise touch controls and make EQ adjustments.

For maximum comfort, the Buds come with three pairs of included silicone ear tips, so you can choose which one is the best fit for you. They also come with a charging case with a small opening to hold the wireless adapter. The Buds alone can last for 10 hours, but the charging case can extend that up to 33 hours.

The HyperX Cloud Mix Buds will be available starting this month for $149.99. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
