While Todd Howard and his Starfield gameplay presentation was the big closer tonight at the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, Phil Spencer also got a huge announcement in just before the end of the show. Spencer took to the stage right before the Starfield reveal to announce Xbox's new partnership with Atlus, which will bring several mainline Persona games to Xbox and PC, including Persona 5 Royal.
After years of fans requesting Persona 5 on non-PlayStation platforms, Atlus is going all-in on PC and Xbox. As part of Persona's 25th anniversary celebrations, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal have all been announced for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
All three titles will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day-one, and will be streamable to almost any device through Xbox Cloud Gaming:
While we don't have release dates for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden just yet, we do know that the biggest of the bunch, Persona 5 Royal, is releasing on the 21st of October.
