Cyberpunk 2077 already supports FSR 1.0 and DLSS 2.0, allowing players to use upscaling to save on performance and increase frame rates. Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red hasn't got around to upgrading to FSR 2.0 yet, but thanks to the efforts of one modder, we can add in the new upscaling tech ourselves.
The mod from Potato of Doom (via DSOG) is still in an early stage, but you can download it right away. In simple terms, the mod replaces DLSS 2.0 files with FSR 2.0 and changes a few things in the Windows registry. Then, select a DLSS setting, and instead of using DLSS, it will be using FSR 2.0. According to the modder, he can run the game with a GTX 1080 in 4K at 45FPS, boosting the frame rate by a factor of two compared to running it in native resolution.
The mod is still in its early stages, so bugs and other errors are expected. Still, it's pretty impressive to see someone building such a mod so fast, considering FSR 2.0 had only just gone open-source a day before its release.
Seeing how the mod works leads us to believe that you should be able to introduce FSR 2.0 using a similar method on other games. Assuming they have DLSS 2.0 already, you'll just need to replace files and change the registry accordingly.
