We've already seen the Phanteks P400 and the P600 series cases, but now we have a nice middle-ground option. Today, Phanteks launches the Eclipse P500A chassis, a matte white mid-tower case that provides plenty of airflow and room for high-end components.
The P500A has a mesh front panel and can house up to seven 120mm fans or six 140mm fans, and includes plenty of support for watercooling radiators. If you wanted a really big AIO, or even a custom loop, you can fit up to a 420mm radiator in the top of the case and up to a 360mm radiator in the front.
The Eclipse P500A has the form factor of a Mini-Tower ATX and can support up to an E-ATX motherboard with a maximum width of 280mm. The case offers clearance for a CPU cooler of up to 190mm tall and GPUs a maximum of 435mm long. Vertical GPU mounting is also supported when combined with the optional Riser cable, as the case offers 3 vertical slots in addition to the 7 standard PCIe slots.
The spacious case design also means no compromise when it comes to storage. The P500A can support up to ten 3.5″ HDD drives, as well as three additional 2.5″ SSD drives. The HDD bays can also be used to fit 2.5″ SSD drives. The front I/O features 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0, Microphone, Headphone, D-RGB Mode Button, D-RGB Colour Button, Reset Button, and Power Button.
The Phanteks Eclipse P500A is available in Matte White with a tempered glass window and DRGB lighting. The case will be available via Overclockers UK for £154.99.
