Nvidia RTX 5060 Laptop GPU benchmark leaks

A leaked 3DMark Time Spy benchmark has surfaced, offering a glimpse into Nvidia's upcoming GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU performance. And if these early results are anything to go by, mobile gamers can expect a significant performance uplift.

The leak from 超合金彩虹糖 on Bilibili (via @94G8LA) shows the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU achieving a graphics score of 13,821 in 3DMark Time Spy. While this might not seem earth-shattering, it represents a healthy 32.5% increase over the RTX 4060 Laptop GPU and a 10% improvement over the RTX 4070 Laptop GPU.

Interestingly, the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU even outperforms the desktop RTX 4060 Ti. The laptop GPU is expected to have a maximum TDP of 115W, which, compared to the 165W TDP of the desktop RTX 4060 Ti, makes this score all the more impressive. It's important to remember that 3DMark Time Spy is a synthetic benchmark, and gaming performance may vary. However, this leak provides a promising indication of the performance gains we can expect from the RTX 5060 Laptop GPU.

Nvidia is expected to officially unveil its GeForce RTX 50 series (desktop and laptop) at CES 2025 in early January. Some retailers have already listed laptops featuring RTX 50 series GPUs, suggesting pre-orders will open soon. However, whether the mid-range RTX 5060 will be part of the initial launch lineup for laptops remains unclear.
