Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Steam demo available now

Shin Megami Tensei is the original series which helped set developer ATLUS on its current path – with the JRPG franchise getting a spin-off in the form of the even-more-popular Persona series. Those who have yet to give the latest SMT entry a try can now do so for free, as a demo for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has now gone live.

Available right now on Steam (and set to come to PS5 later today), a demo for the 2021 JRPG Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been made available for all to try out – in case you were still hesitant to pick it up.

The demo features quite a bit of content, with players able to experience the full opening, including the choice between two story paths and the ability to complete 4 story bosses and up to 20 side quests.

As with many demos nowadays, your progress will be saved and transferred over to the full game should you choose to purchase it.

With Shin Megami Tensei V having only come to PC earlier this Summer (after a multi-year-long exclusivity period on the Switch), this should offer more than enough to help you decide whether SMT V is for you or not.
