Sharkoon has just released the AK5 RGB case series, a new ATX case lineup that includes the AK5M and AK5G models. Alongside these cases, Sharkoon has also announced the new Shark PWM RGB fans, which included the Lights and the Mirror models.
Available in black and white, the AK5G and AK5M are pretty much the same, with the former featuring a front tempered glass panel and the latter a mesh front panel. Both cases have tempered glass side panels, allowing you to showcase your build. The spacious interior can accommodate up to eleven 120 mm fans or two 360 mm radiators, which should be enough for the majority of systems. There's also support for BTF (back-to-the-front) motherboards.
Out of the box, the AK5 RGB cases come equipped with four 120mm RGB PWM fans, each with three rows of LEDs for vibrant lighting effects. The front I/O panel offers various connectivity options, including a TRRS jack and a USB-C port for convenient access to your peripherals and mobile devices. An integrated fan and RGB controller allows you to manage up to four fans and four RGB components, simplifying cable management and customisation. The AK5 RGB cases can accommodate graphics cards up to 410 mm long, CPU coolers up to 170 mm tall, and power supplies up to 235 mm in length. There's also space for up to two 3.5-inch HDDs or four 2.5-inch SSDs.
To complement the AK5G RGB, Sharkoon has also released its Shark RGB PWM fans. Starting with the Lights model, which is available in black or white, these fans feature three layers of addressable RGB LEDs that can be controlled via your motherboard's PWM fan headers. Alternatively, there are the Shark Mirror fans, which also come in black or white and also feature a reverse model. These, as the name suggests, have an infinity mirror effect in the centre.
Both the AK5G RGB and AK5M RGB are available now in black or white for €89.90. The Shark Lights and Mirror RGB PWM fans cost €9.90 each.
