Intel Arc Alchemist GPUs are not supported by any mining software

Miners have begun getting their hands on Intel's upcoming Arc desktop graphics cards. However, it would seem that so far, no Windows-based mining software supports Intel's GPUs, which could dissuade mining farms from buying these up at launch.

Crypto miner and YouTuber DJMines tried to mine using a Intel Arc Gunnir A380 Photon, but with no success. Some of the software tried included NiceHash, trex, lolminer, teamreeminer. All the software was tested on a Windows-based system.

This is actually good news for gamers, at least while there's no mining software capable of making the Intel ARC A380 GPU mine. No one was expecting this card would be a mining beast, but now that it can't even do that, the crypto card may ignore it, which should mean more stock going towards gamers in need of an upgrade.

The new Intel Arc A380 is already available in China, but western availability still looks bleak. Intel is still preparing its full rollout of desktop graphics cards, with more GPUs set to arrive this summer.
