Logitech unveils ‘Aurora Collection’ gaming peripherals

Logitech has a new range of gaming peripherals on the way, designed around comfort, approachability and playfulness. The new Aurora Collection includes a headset, two mechanical keyboards, a mouse various accessories and a new pink version of the Blue Yeti microphone.

Up first, we have the G735 white headset, featuring RGB lighting on each earcup, Lightspeed wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, and on-ear dual-audio mixing. In addition, it's the first Logitech headset using Blue VO!CE microphone technology, making it capable of modulating a player's voice and saving audio settings in G Hub or on the headset itself. The wireless headset is rated to offer more than 56 hours of life on a single charge with the RGB lighting switched off, it comes at a price though, with this headset launching at $229.99.

Next, we have the G715 and G713 mechanical gaming keyboards. Both keyboards are similar aesthetically, with one key difference. The G715 is wireless, using Lightspeed wireless and Bluetooth connectivity and up to 30 hours of battery life. As for the G713, it uses a detachable wired connection. Both keyboards come in an 87-key tenkeyless layout with dedicated media keys and double-shot PBT keycaps, per-key RGB lighting, and under-case 16 LED perimeter lighting. Pricing differs depending on the model, with the G715 going for $199.99 and the G713 for $169.99.

Moving on to the G705 wireless (Lightspeed and BT) gaming mouse, this peripheral was designed for smaller hands, using a compact contoured casing. At just 85g, G705 should be easy and comfortable to use for long gaming sessions. The G705 has six configurable keys and a customisable 3-zone RGB lighting around the palm rest. The battery is rated for 40 hours, and the senor maxes out at 8,200 DPI. Logitech will be selling the G705 for $99.99.

Besides all the new Logitech gear, the company's audio-focused microphone brand, Blue, is also introducing new colour options for the popular Yeti microphone, including a new matte pink version and a white version.

KitGuru says: Logitech's Aurora Collection looks good, but it is also a pretty expensive set of peripherals.
