God of War Ragnarök is releasing on the 9th of November

Sony has finally broken its silence on God of War: Ragnarök, confirming an early November release date on PS4 and PS5. The announcement also brings along a new trailer and confirmation of the game's collector's edition.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, God of War: Ragnarök is now releasing on the 9th of November 2022. The announcement also includes the new “Father and Son” CG trailer, giving us some new scenes between Kratos and Atreus. Unfortunately, direct gameplay was not shown, but we should see more of the game later in the summer.

As previously leaked, the game will have a Collector's Edition, containing a replica of Mjölnir, as well as other physical bonuses, a steelbook case, special packaging, an artbook, and some additional DLC.

Sony will have another blog post going live on the 15th of July with additional Ragnarök-related news.

KitGuru Says: I was expecting this to slip into late November, possibly even December given the recent drought of news, but it seems Sony is confident the game will be ready. Hopefully we'll get our first look at gameplay in the not too distant future.
