League of Legends was at the forefront of free-to-play gaming over a decade ago, offering in-game currency and microtransactions before it became the widespread norm. In-game currency prices have been fixed in place for a while, but Riot has recently announced a price hike of 10% on average.
Buying in-game currency to spend in League of Legends or Team Fight Tactics is getting more expensive, In Europe, the average price has risen by 9.8 percent, and here in the UK, the average price has risen by 10.9 percent.

These new prices will go into effect on the 19th of August, so if you plan on making any in-game purchases in LoL or TFT, then you have time to stock up before prices go up.
According to Riot, these changes are being made due to currency fluctuations and worldwide inflation.
