Following on from rumours that began circulating late last night, Nintendo has revealed a new trailer for Bayonetta 3. The new trailer also gives us final confirmation on the game's release date, which is set for October.
Bayonetta 3 is set to release on Nintendo Switch on the 28th of October, continuing Nintendo's long-standing partnership with Platinum Games. While Bayonetta was initially a multi-platform series, Nintendo began funding the series starting with Bayonetta 2, leading to the beloved action series becoming exclusive to Nintendo's platforms.
The new trailer is three minutes long and gives us another lengthy look at gameplay, cinematic moments and introduces us to key characters we'll encounter along the way.
Bayonetta 3 was first announced in late 2017, but Platinum quickly went quiet to focus on other projects, including remasters for Bayonetta 1 & 2, as well as another Nintendo Switch exclusive – Astral Chain. Platinum finally began talking about Bayonetta 3 again just last year. Now, the long wait is almost over, and the game will finally launch in a few months time.
