Intel reveals Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics card with first in-game benchmarks (updated)

Update – 04/08/22: Intel has since privatised the original video released a few weeks ago, replacing it with a new Arc A750 performance showcase with a few tweaks. You can find our story on the updated video, HERE

(Original story – 15/07/22): Intel is finally starting to show off its upcoming Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards. In a video posted this afternoon, Intel's Ryan Shrout showcased the upcoming Arc A750 Limited Edition graphics card and benchmarked it up against an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060.

The video isn't especially long or in-depth, but we do get to see some performance results for the Arc A750 in games like Cyberpunk 2077. In this test, the A750 managed to run the game at 1440p with high graphics settings at 60 frames per second. According to Intel's results, this is a 15 percent gain over the RTX 3060.

Other titles tested included Control, Borderlands 3, Fortnite and F1 2021. In these specific titles, the Arc A750 beats the RTX 3060 by anywhere from 6 percent to 17 percent. However, exact frame rate numbers and graphical settings were not shared on the graph.

Intel plans to release more videos like this as we get closer to launch. Importantly, Intel is still saying Arc desktop graphics cards will be available this Summer, so we should get more news very soon.

KitGuru Says: We were expecting a quick and aggressive rollout for Intel Arc this year, but the process has been moving very slowly. Hopefully this is the beginning of a speedy ramp up to launch.
