AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs and X670 motherboards appear in retail listings

We seem to be rapidly approaching launch for AMD's upcoming Ryzen 7000 desktop processors and the first 600 series motherboards. Ahead of AMD's official unveiling, retailers have begun listing multiple processors and X670 motherboards online complete with pricing.

The listings are no longer online, but they were shared by @momomo_us. Looking at the listings, this new generation of Ryzen processors will be priced higher than their predecessors. The tray models, which tend to be cheaper, start with the Ryzen 5 7600X at $424 (CAD), which translates into $330 (USD) or £212.73 – that's about 10% more expensive than Ryzen 5 5600X.

In the Ryzen 7 7700X's case, the tray model was going for $614 (CAD, which translates to $481 USD or £396 GBP, putting it above both the Ryzen 7 5700X and 5800X launch price ($300 and $450). The Ryzen 9 7900X looks to be the one with the most significant price difference between it and its predecessor ($550), with the tray model costing $777 CAD, $609 USD or £396 GBP. Lastly, the Ryzen 9 7950X tray variant was listed at $1141 CAD ($893 USD or £735 GBP).

Moreover, listings of the MSI Pro X670-P and MPG X670E Carbon Wi-Fi motherboards have also been spotted online. Wccftech, for example, found them at CityWebShop.it for €374/£316 and €562/£475. On the other hand, the listings shared by @momomo_us show the two boards at €406/£343 and €610/£516.

AMD is expected to officially announce its Ryzen 7000 series processors at the end of this month, with availability to follow in September. At that time, AMD will announce the official MSRPs for its new processors.
