Saints Row PC system requirements revealed

After initially being unveiled last year, and one several-month long delay, the Saints Row reboot is finally launching next week. On the PC side, we now know exactly what hardware you'll need to run the game, with the minimum spec targeting 1080p/30FPS. There are also system requirements for 1080p/60FPS, 1440p/60FPS and a spec for those looking to play at 4K. 

The game, simply titled ‘Saints Row', is a reboot for the series set in Santo Ileso.In the reboot, players will create their own custom character looking to start up a new gang called ‘The Saints'. With the help of three companions, Neenah, Kevin and Eli, you'll be tasked with building up your gang's reputation and overthrowing three rival gangs, Los Panteros, Marshall Defence Technologies and The Idols. The map is said to be “the biggest and best Saints Row playground ever created”.

Here are the full system requirements for the game:

Minimum (1080p/30FPS):

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3240 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 480

Recommended (1080p/60FPS):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • RAM: 12GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5700

High (1440p/60FPS):

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 2080 or Radeon RX 6700XT

Ultra (4K/60FPS):

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-12600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or Radeon RX 6800XT

In all cases, you'll need at least 50GB of storage to install the game, and an SSD is recommended. You'll also need to be running Windows 10 (64-bit), although both DX11 and DX12 are supported.
