The ASRock Intel Arc A380 ITX graphics card will cost $140

Intel's first desktop Arc Alchemist GPU, the A380, has been available in China for a while now, but had not launched elsewhere. That is finally starting to change, with the ASRock Arc A380 Challenger ITX graphics card set to arrive in the US starting this month.

Newegg recently began listing the graphics card, which is set to become available from the 22nd of August for $139.99 USD. At that price, it is cheaper than the RX 6400 and should offer better performance.

Alternatively, you can also get an Intel Arc A380 in a pre-built system. For $799.99, you can get an iBuyPower SlateHako gaming desktop equipped with an undisclosed Intel Arc A380 card from BestBuy. This same system also packs an Intel Core i3-12100, 8GB of DDR4-3000 memory and a 500GB NVMe SSD.

The Intel Arc A380 is an entry-level card rivalling the AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT and the Nvidia GTX 1650. It uses a full ACM-G11 GPU with 8 Xe-Cores and 6GB of GDDR6 memory clocked at 15.5Gbps across a 96-bit memory bus. It is an eco-friendly card too, with just a 75W TDP.

KitGuru says: Considering the Arc A380 is about to arrive in the US, it shouldn't take long before we see these GPUs in Europe and other parts of the world. Now, hopefully Intel's more exciting A750 and A770 GPUs aren't too far behind.
