The Basilisk V3 Pro is Razer’s ‘most advanced gaming mouse’ ever

The Razer Basilisk mouse is back, with a new V3 Pro version. Promised to be Razer's ‘most advanced gaming mouse' to date, the Basilisk V3 Pro delivers a decent number of programmable buttons, a new sensor, wireless charging and more.

The Basilisk Pro packs a Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, which has a resolution accuracy of 99.8%. Combine that with features like Smart Tracking, and the mouse should track perfectly without issue. The mouse also features Razer Optical switches, and 11 programmable mouse buttons. Using HyperSpeed Wireless, you can use the mouse wirelessly with low latency over a 2.4GHz connection.

While this is Razer's most advanced mouse, you'll have to pay a little extra to fully make use of all its features. The mouse dock and wireless charging puck are both sold separately, as well as in bundles with the mouse, giving you the option of saving money upfront and possibly upgrading later.

Here is the full feature list:

  • 4-way Razer HyperScroll tilt wheel with electronically actuated notched and free-spinning modes
  • 10+1 independently programmable buttons
  • Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (with Multi-Device Support), Bluetooth, and Wired support via Razer Speedflex Cable Type C
  • 13 Razer Chroma RGB lighting zones with full underglow and true 16.8 million customizable color options
  • Razer Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor
  • Up to 750 inches per second (IPS) / 70 G acceleration
  • Razer Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3
  • Up to 90 hours Battery Life (HyperSpeed)
  • On-board memory (4+1 profiles)
  • Approximate size: 130 mm / 5.11 in (Length) x 75.4 mm / 2.96 in (Grip Width) x 42.5 mm / 1.67 in (Height)
  • Approximate weight: 112g / 3.95oz (Excluding cable)
  • Dock Compatibility: Razer Mouse Dock Pro with Razer Wireless Charging Puck (both sold separately)

The Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is available starting this week. The mouse costs $159.99 on its own, or $169.99 with the wireless charging puck, or $199.99 for the mouse and dock bundle. If you buy the puck or dock separately, they cost $19.99 and $69.99 respectively.
