We're slowly finding evidence that the Ryzen 7000 series processors and X670 motherboards will release next month. Following a recent report sharing the release date, MSI China has now shared a marketing video that clearly shows that its X670 and X670E boards will be coming out on September 15th.
The video shared by MSI through its official account on Weibo (via VideoCardz) was launched to promote its upcoming X670E and X670 motherboards. In the video, MSI shared a September 15th launch date. Assuming the X670 boards and the Ryzen 7000 series will release simultaneously, this may be proof enough to believe AMD's next-gen chips are coming out next month. Fortunately, we don't need to wait for September 15th to confirm this, as an announcement is reportedly scheduled for August 29th.
As of now, MSI announced it would release MEG X670E Godlike as the flagship board alongside the MEG X670E Ace, MPG X670E Carbon Wi-Fi and the Pro X670-P Wi-Fi. All these boards can be seen throughout the video. Unfortunately, MSI hasn't shared any B650 or B650E designs, but those should come later.
So far, rumours indicate that AMD will launch the Ryzen 7000 series with four SKUs, with a 16C/32T Ryzen 9 7950X leading the pack. There should also be a 12C/24T Ryzen 9 7900X, 8C/16T Ryzen 7 7700X and 6C/12T Ryzen 5 7600X.
