Last year, G.Skill surprised us all with the Z5i ITX case, which housed a lot of unique design elements. This year, G.Skill is trying its hand at a more traditional case with the new MD2 mid-tower, designed for high-performance builds.
Available in black or white, the G.Skill MD2 chassis offers a spacious interior and a 4mm tempered glass window so you can show off your build. The front panel design is inspired by the S-curves of race tracks and includes side vents for airflow. The front panel also houses RGB lighting, which is in place via a spring-loaded contact, rather than wiring, making it easily removable if you need easy access to your front fans.
The interior has space for up to two 360mm liquid cooling radiators, and up to 7 fans throughout the case. You'll also find space for graphics cards up to 395mm long, CPU coolers up to 170mm tall and up to four SSDs, or two SSDs and two HDDs.
The G.Skill MD2 mid-tower will be available this year, but retail pricing is currently unknown.
