Corsair TC200 Gaming Chair Review

Rating: 8.0.

Today we're taking a look at Corsair's latest gaming chair, the TC200. After being fairly impressed with the TC60 last year, I was quite excited to get my hands on this given there are a number of improvements – notably, the more premium materials, including the powder-coated metal base and 75mm anti-roll castors. We put this chair through its paces today and find out if it is worth buying.

The Corsair TC200 has a retail price of for £349.99 and is available directly from Corsair HERE.

Pros:

  • Great looking design.
  • Premium steel base (vs plastic used on older models).
  • Class 4 gas lift (up to 121kg weight support).
  • 4D armrests with lots of adjustment options.
  • 90-180 degree recline for relaxing.
  • Very comfortable.
  • Includes neck pillow to aid neck ergonomics.
  • Available in both fabric and leatherette.

Cons:

  • Lumbar support is not adjustable.
  • The headrest on the chair is not really useful.
  • 4D armrests require a button to adjust.
  • Castors are quite rattly and loud.
  • Side bolsters could be uncomfortable for wider people.
  • Fairly expensive at £350.

KitGuru says: The TC200 is certainly an improvement over the TC60 I reviewed previously, however, ergonomic options still feel lacking. While I do love the recline mechanism on this chair too, it's not convenient for those using two hands to game (especially when in an intense session) as you need a free hand to operate it.
