Ubisoft teases what fans can expect at upcoming game showcase

In just a few short days, Ubisoft will be going live with its autumn edition of ‘Ubisoft Forward’ – a video game showcase where the publisher will give fans a deeper look into some previously announced games, as well as potential reveals for as-of-yet unknown titles. Ahead of this stream on the 10th of September, Ubisoft has now offered details on which games fans can expect to see shown off.

Releasing a teaser trailer on YouTube ahead of their ‘Ubisoft Forward’ showcase (which will go live on the 10th of September at 8pm UK time), the publisher teased some of the games which fans can expect to see at the event, saying:

“Ubisoft Forward will bring you updates on upcoming games like Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Skull and Bones, as well as a special Assassin's Creed showcase offering a peek at the future of the franchise.”

That is not all however, as some of Ubisoft’s more prolific live-service titles will also make an appearance, with the publisher teasing that “You can also expect some news on the latest seasons, characters, and content from your favorite live games, like Brawlhalla, For Honor, The Crew 2, Anno 1800, The Division 2, Ubisoft+ and more.”

We already know that the Assassin’s Creed game set to make an appearance at the showcase is ‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’. While the game was officially announced by Ubisoft last week via Twitter, it is safe to assume that this only occurred due to the litany of leaks which sprung up prior, forcing the publisher’s hand into announcing the game ahead of their showcase.

While it is unfortunate that AC Mirage leaked, it will be interesting nonetheless to get an official look at the game when the Ubisoft Forward steam goes live on the 10th.
