Last night, AMD officially announced its new generation of Ryzen processors, alongside the AM5 platform. These products will be launching in late September, and there will be AMD optimised DDR5 memory too, with Corsair being amongst the first to announce.
Last night following AMD's event, Corsair announced the new Dominator Platinum RGB DDR5 memory for AMD, as well as the new Vengeance RGB DDR5 for AMD. There will also be a non-RGB version of the Vengeance for AMD DDR5 kits.
These new memory kits will offer speeds up to 6000MT/s, but there is the promise of even faster modules in the future. All Corsair DDR5 for AMD kits offer AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking (EXPO), which allows you to get memory running at full speed with just a few clicks. All kits will be available in 1 or 2 DIMM sets, with capacities up to 64GB.
DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB DDR5 for AMD remains as the flagship, packing Corsair's DHX cooling system, and 12 ultra-bright RGB Capellix LEDs. The Vengeance RGB DDR5 for AMD also has a new look, with a grey aluminium heat spreader and 10 individually lit ARGB LEDs.
The first Corsair DDR5 memory kits for AMD are available already, directly through Corsair's website.
