Leaker claims first benchmark results for RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti

Nvidia has yet to officially unveil its next generation of RTX graphics cards, but the company did recently confirm that they are on the way. Chances are, we'll be seeing the RTX 4090 first, followed by the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070. The RTX 4060 should arrive in 2023, and one leaker claims to already have benchmark results for the GPU, which show up to a 50% generation-over-generation performance improvement.

The results shared by FCL (via VideoCardz), claim that early versions of what should be the RTX 4060 and RTX 4060 Ti have been tested in Time Spy Extreme. Apparently, during these tests, the RTX 4060 Ti had an average clock speed of over 2600MHz, and power draw up to 280W. In this case, the RTX 4060 Ti is said to have scored around 8600 points in the benchmark.

Moving on to the RTX 4060, it is claimed this GPU had an average clock speed of over 2700MHz during the test, and power draw up to 240W, leading to around 6000 points in Time Spy Extreme.

Right now, we have no way of verifying these claims. However, Nvidia will be officially announcing new graphics cards before the end of the year, so we should get our first look at what's to come soon.

KitGuru says: Considering how far away we likely are from an RTX 4060 launch, we'll take these results with a grain of salt. They might be accurate, but Nvidia may make specification changes right up until the actual launch and if the specs change, the results can change too.
