We're coming up towards September, which means a new set of free games are on the way for PS+ subscribers. Next month, those subscribed to the entry-level PS+ Essential tier will get three games – two PS4 titles and one PS5 game.
billbil kun, a Dealabs user who accurately leaks all new PS+ games a week or so ahead of Sony's official announcement, has returned with an update for September. Next month, Sony will be giving away TOEM (PS5), Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4) and Need for Speed: Heat (PS4).
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a highly-rated fighting game from the experts at ARC System Works. The game features popular characters from the Granblue universe, each with a unique fighting style. There is also an alternate RPG story mode, which you can play solo or in co-op, taking on waves of enemies and watching the story play out through cutscenes.
Need for Speed: Heat is the most recent game in the series and all the boxes are ticked for an open world racer, with street races, cop chases and other challenges dotted throughout the map.
Finally, TOEM is a hand-drawn adventure game. You'll spend a lot of time interacting with characters, taking pictures and exploring nature.
Typically, Sony officially announces each month's PS+ Essential titles on the first Tuesday of the month, so expect confirmation next week.
