Nintendo has had a few major releases this year already, thanks to first-party hits like Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3. Now, it is time to find out what Nintendo has planned for the holiday season, as Nintendo has announced a new 40-minute long Direct stream.
Nintendo didn't hold a major Direct showcase this summer, instead opting for some smaller news updates. The company appears to have been holding quite a bit back, which will now be revealed in a Direct stream tomorrow. The stream will go live at 10AM ET worldwide, across all of Nintendo's usual channels.
There is a catch for those of us in the UK. Nintendo has opted to not livestream the Direct tomorrow on its UK channel due to the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, the Direct will be uploaded to the Nintendo UK YouTube channel as a VOD at 4PM tomorrow afternoon.
The Direct will be “roughly” 40-minutes long and will be “mostly” focused on Nintendo Switch games releasing this winter season. We may get one or two big announcements for games a little further out from release, but expect to mostly see stuff that we'll be playing over the next few months.

KitGuru Says: The Nintendo Switch was already having a great year, especially now that Splatoon 3 has become the fastest selling game in Japan. Now it'll be interesting to see what Nintendo follows that up with to cap off the year. Recent rumours suggest we'll see a couple more Zelda remasters for Switch, which will help fill the void as we all await Breath of the Wild 2's 2023 launch date.
