A new Silent Hill game has been rated in South Korea

Over the past year, reports have insisted that Konami has multiple Silent Hill games in development as part of an effort to revive a few key video game franchises. Now, we may have our first legitimate piece of evidence, as South Korea's game rating committee has listed an unannounced Silent Hill project.

As reported by Gematsu, the listing reveals ‘Silent Hill: The Short Message', which is going to be published by UNIANA, a company that works with Konami on publishing games in South Korea.

Unfortunately, the listing reveals little more. There are no platforms listed, and no actual details about the game or its release were included aside from the title. The title itself could indicate a teaser demo, similar to PT, rather than a full game. It could also be a hint at the episodic Silent Hill game that is reportedly in development.

Back in May, it was claimed that Blooper Team is working on a remake of Silent Hill 2, while another studio is working on an episodic Silent Hill project.

KitGuru Says: There's a lot of smoke around Silent Hill right now. Perhaps Konami is now gearing up for an October reveal for one of the projects it has cooking up.
