Teamgroup reveals their first DDR5 memory stick for AMD’s AM5 platform

With the AMD AM5 platform releasing in less than two week, memory manufacturers are getting ready to put their AM5-compatible DDR5 memory sticks on the market. AMD has already shown some of these upcoming from different partners, but it seems Teamgroup was the first to launch DDR5 memory supporting AMD EXPO.

The launch of the Ryzen 7000 series and AMD X670 series boards is scheduled for September 27th. Those planning to build a system with these components ASAP will need DDR5 memory that supports AMD EXPO (Extended Profiles for Overclocking). Fortunately for them, Teamgroup has just launched DDR5 memory kits meeting that criteria.

Named Vulcanα DDR5 gaming memory, these are likely the first of many other models the company has in store for us. Featuring a simple yet functional aluminium alloy heatsink (black or red), the new Vulcanα DDR5 sticks will be the company's entry-level gaming memory solution for the AMD AM5 platform.

The memory kits will be available with 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB running at 5,200MHz (CL38-40-40-84), 5,600MHz (CL40-40-40-84) or 6,000MHz (CL38-38-38-78). All memory kits are backed by a lifetime warranty and free replacement service for damage not caused by human factors.
